HI,
Why would the clock on my computer jump 2 hours ahead instead of just
one hour for the recent Daylight Savings time change? .... it's never
missed a beat before.
Thanks,
E.

thanks you, and I did exactly that when I saw the time was off by 2
hours...I also did a scan with all of my spyware scanners and found no
problems...

however by googling, I found this explanation... it may help someone
else.. http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/mswish/ut-rtc.html

Thanks for the effort,
E.

I've also seen this happen when a system is setup to dual boot and both OS's
are have the "Adjust for Daylight Savings" box ticked. So of course when
the first is booted, the clock is adjusted, then the next time the other OS
is booted, it too adjusts the clock and now it is off by an hour.
