We are having a strange problem with our Windows XPe load (Service Pack 2
with Feature Pack 2007). It seems that every time we shut off our embedded
terminal with the power switch (e.g. an "unexpected shut-off"), the Windows
clock adds an hour when we reboot back into Windows. Once we do an "ewfmgr
c: -commit", the problem goes away and Windows doesn't try to set the clock
forward anymore. It's almost as if the fact that Windows has already
adjusted the clock for DST is "lost" because it's not been committed.
BTW: we are using RAM-Reg mode for our EWF controlled drive. Does anyone
know what to do to fix this besides committing every spring and fall? Thanks!
