Hi everyone!
Following is the link to the Microsoft article about updates for DST
changes in 2007:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/timezone/dst2007.mspx

It speaks about updates for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, but not a
single word about Windows 2000. Has anybody heard anything about Windows 2000
updates concerning DST changes for Windows 2000?

Thank you in advance.

As it said on page you referenced:

"By the time the final update will be released to the public, Windows XP SP1
and older operating system versions will have passed their end of support
dates and will not be receiving the update. Versions of Windows which are
not currently supported can be manually updated using the tzedit.exe utility
or other techniques documented in Knowledge Base article 317211 and similar
articles for other countries"

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=914387 mentions using Tzedit.exe to
change the daylight time settings. "This utility is included in the
Resource Kit for your version of Windows."

I run Win2k Pro, sp4, but have a sp2 cd. Should it be on the sp2 cd? I
browsed the the resource kit directory and cab files using windows
explorer and did not see the file. Will installing the resource kit
make it available? Can it be installed without installing the full
resource kit?

Thanks.
