Hi,

I'm having a problem reinstalling my davicom 9102 fast ethernet adapter.
I accidentally deleted it, and since then have had problems. I'm hoping
that someone here will be able to help or point me in the right
directions. TIA.

I have tried to find drivers on the internet, but once reinstalling with
the first set of drivers that I found (from DriverGuide.com), I still
had issues. I then removed the davicom adapter again and went to try a
different set of drivers; however, I found that I didn't have all the
files that I needed. I tried to select "skip file" in the hopes of
retrying the installation later, but now I'm not prompted to install!
When I try to force the installation (by going to Network properties and
"Add" adapter) I'm given a popup that states I've selected a
"plug-and-play" item, and that I need to turn off my pc and turn it back
on again.

Davicom is not listed as an adapter in the list now, so I can't remove
it again, but I can't seem to install it again either!?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

Regards,
Glenn

Taff,

I thank you for the reply, however, if you read the full post, you'd
have noticed that drivers are not the current issue. My current problem
is that Windows is not letting me add the adapter; it's not in the list
of adapters to remove and trying to add gives me an error (see the
original post for more detail).

Thanks
Glenn
