I have a problem creating persistent DAV connections on Windows XP and
XP Pro clients.
Servers are both Linux / Apache and Windows2000 Server Apache.
Have not tried with IIS.
The problem is quite simple. On Win2K, Win98 and Unix machines, I am
able to create persistent network shares to the DAV directories on the
servers. On XP machines, I am able to establish a connection, but it
fails to re-establish the share on reload.
Tried both the Network place and drive share route.
Have gone to the extent of using the command line :
"net use r: \\http://aaa.com/DAV /Persistent:ON"
to no avail. The users typically log on as Administrator, then can't get
to the resources on the DAV directory, put there specifically for when
they need to be Admin...
Any ideas?
