D Dave Peterson Sep 20, 2009 #3 When you select a cell that has a date that's displayed in general format, what do you see in the formula bar? If you see the real date, then you may be looking at formulas. In xl2003 menus: Tools|Options|View tab|and make sure Formulas is not checked.
