Dates shown in do not appear to take date format into account prop

It's probably been posted before, so apologies for being a newbie. But in
case it hasn't...

User1 runs definition update and downloads Nov 4 2005 files. Scan runs Nov
5 2005. Date format mm/dd/yy.
User2 then logs on and opens Antispyware and has date format dd/mm/yy. Defs
show as April 11 2005 and last scan is May 11 2005.
 
It is risky to run beta1 with a date format other than the default (which I
believe is the top choice in the drop down.)

You may find that the program has suddenly expired.

This won't happen with beta1 - Windows Defender - which with luck will be
out before this becomes an issue for you.
 
Fair enough. Haven't had an expiry issue (other than warnings the scan
hasn't been run for a while). To answer prev. question - both users happen
to be local admin. Thanks, Bill+Andre.
 
I expect that if it suddenly expires, you'll recall this exchange, and know
to reset the date format--that'll take care of it.
