Helll

I have a scenario where I want to calculate the difference between two dates in order to ascertain the % time elapsed from the current date against the start date

I am using the DatedIF function to calculate the difference between Start Date and Finish Date, but cannot incorporate the current date in order to provide the %. (hope that made sense

Start Date: 16-Mar-04
Finish Date: 25-Mar-0
Current Date: 23-Mar-0

Can anyone provide any assistance

TIA Vers

Hi
if A1=Start-Date, B1 = Finish-Date and C1 = current Date try
=(C1-A1)/(B1-A1)
and format this resulting cell as percentage

Hi Frank

Many thanks for responding so quickly. I have tried you calculation and it works great - I was over complicating things

Have a great day and hopefully you will be visited by good fortunate for assisting me :-

Hey Frank

I had another idea: I've tried to incorporate the =NOW() function but realised I'm mixing to different cell types and the outcome is incorrect (something like 57). Is there a work around for the following

=((NOW()-C1)/(C2-C1)*100

Any ideas would be appreciated
