Date Updating

Give us some more detail, please!
If you want to work with dates. regular addition works
well.
If a cell is formatted date and then gets a date entered,
if you add 1 to it, it goes up one day.
See Excel help on working with dates.

I have a spreadsheet that would be updated once a month.

One column has cells with prices that are retrieved from
a different sheet.


In another column are cells containing dates that
correspond with the cell that have prices.

I want the date to be updated when the prices are updated.

Yes.. ahhh kinda.. what mechanism are you using to perform
this once a month update of transfering the data from one
sheet to another? I.E. is there some trigger, or does the
data just automatically update from one sheet to another
as it changes? I think I'll have to write a little
program to do this.. depends on your answer.

The new data is imported using the vlookup function to
import data from one sheet to the other.
