date of contact last opened

Is there a way to sort contacts by the last time they were opened or viewed??

There's a date last modified field (use the field chooser to drag it into a
table view). That's all as far as I am aware.

Make sure you are in a Table view (ie NOT Phone List). You'll find the field
"modified" on the Field Chooser - turn on the Advanced Toolbars and click
the Field Chooser. Then set it to All Mail Fields and find the field called
"modified". Drag it into the table and the data will appear.
