I've had Outlook 2002 on my machine for calendaring for
quite a while. I recently converted to using it for email
from Outlook Express. I don't know if it's related but it
seems that since I did that the Date Navigator for the
calendar has disappeared and I can't figure out how to
get it back. Any clues?

Cheers,
Jon

in the 1 day view you can squash the date navigator off to the side of the
screen. Move your cursor to the right hand edge of your screen until the
icon changes and then drag the edge to the left. It will move over in
chunks of a month's view at a time.

My calendar view shows the calendar, and then to the
right of that the Task Pad. Dragging the month's edge to
the left simply enlarges the Task Pad by the chunks you
mention. Moving to the right has the same effect in the
other direction. The edge between the Calendar and the
Task Pad is the only edge that I've been able to get the
mouse pointer to change.

Thanks for the clue, but I don't seem to be having the
same problem as your client as best as I can tell.

Any further clues would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Jon

In that case, try dragging the top of the TaskPad downward.

Put your cursor on the right side of the calendar and start dragging to the left. It may take a few times to get the right "spot", but it will move the calendar and reveal the Date Navigator. I've had this happen lots of times so through trial and error, I've figured out how to do it.

That did it. Thank you all.
