DATE MODIFIED DOES NOT UPDATE IN WINDOWS XP

Hello:

Is this a known issue? When using Access 97 in Windoes XP
the date modified in Windows Explorer does not update
after making a change and closing the database.

Any suggestions?
 
Just checked this out on my own copy of Access 97 on WinXP. Sorry to say
that I cannot reproduce this error. What is the status of Service
Releases/Patches on your system - for Office/Access and for Windows XP?
 
Everything is up to date. Sr2 in Office. Service Pack 1
in XP. Access is running locally. It's not a server issue
because it happens when the file is both locally and on
the server. We reproduced it on anorther machine here in
