Hello Pepper

The date I refer to is the Insert/Date and Time command from the FrontPage
menu bar. Until I publish it shows in English, but the moment I publish it
translates to a mainland European language - (Dutch?). I Inserted the time on
my banner in the format which shows day and month in words.
Sorry for not knowing the ropes.
Hope you suffer fools gladly.>

Which country hosts your site? The server may have FrontPage extensions
installed appropriate to the country the server is in - this will affect
the language of the date and any other server generated messages.
Or give a Link to the page affected.

Montag, 29 Mai 2006 12:35 +0200 is French (one of the official languages of
Belgium), but is incorrect - the time appears to be stuck on 12:35 +0200,
(10:35 GMT)

Since there is no sign of a webbot this must be a server issue - I assume
you are using a SSI to include the date and time, though I am puzzled why
it is necessary to show today's date and time when there is a clock in the
bottom right corner of every desktop.

The <blink> tag does not work in IE, and looks awful in FireFox. It can
also be a health hazard for those subject to some fits.

Thanks Ronx

The Server is in Germany.
The date was not in fact the date in real time but the date of the last
edit. I agree with your comment "Why show the real time" and will no longer.
However, the language issue is still a problem.
No I haven't used SSI and will invertigate how to.

Thanks for the note on the blinking!

Cheers
