date insertion position PP2003

Hi,
is there a possibility to decide where the date (and/or slide no.) would be
inserted? It sits always in the left (and/or right) corner and I did not
find any options to move it elsewhere (PP 2003).

If you view > master > slide master you can move the date (ond the other)
placeholder box anywhere.
