Date Help Please In Excel.

Hello All,

Is there anyone who mite help me out here on this. Here is what
need to find out If i enter this in a cell 010104 in need it to loo
like this 01/01/04 i dont wont to have to type this / on every one i
there a way for this to work ?

Hi Philip!

If you are using mmddyy then Chip Pearson's website is the place to
go:

http://www.cpearson.com/excel/DateTimeEntry.htm

But if you are using ddmmyy then you should either adapt Chip's
subroutine, use Data > Text to columns or Parse the results into a
helper column DATE function.

Reply back if you need help on any of these last three options.
