Hello ... Is there a way to show the day of the week as part of the date
display in the systray ... currently it shows the time and on "Mouse Over"
shows the Month, day & year .. I used to have Windows98 and it showed also
the day of week, which I would still like to see.

I have checked the "Regional and Language Settings" in Control Panel but it
doesn't give an option to show the day of week as part of the "Long Date"
format.

Is there a way to do this? Any help would be much appreciated.

there is - go to Control panel-Regional and Language options. On the
Regional tab, click on Customize.Click on the Date tab, and in the Long date
Format, edit it to show "dddd MMMM yyyy" (without the quotes). Click Apply.
then when you hover over the time in the systray, it will show the day of
the week.
You can also drag the Taskbar wider, when the systray will show time, day
and date.
