Hi, we have a situation where if you are using a date
format in a log file which is imported into excel the
format is america even though the locale setting are all
set to united kingdom, when you try to change it to
dd/mm/yyyy it only changes up to 12th of the month, 13th
onwards stays in american format, also if you change the
column to a general number again up to 12th it changes to
e.g - 342233 and the 13th onwards is still fixed in
american date format 14/03/2004

Have you any ideas please

Thanks

James

Try the ms.public.excell ng
You may have to import as is then reread into a 2nd cell to get the format
you want
Try using a newsreader app, eg outlook express rather than web access, makes
life easier.
