I have a field set to short date 99;99;00;0, and it appears as soon as I tab
to the next couple of fields that the previous date field changes to this
format 07/25/2003 12:00pm ,,I only need the date not the time..What
could be the possible reason for the field to change to this format...In
properties the default is date()...Im using 2000,, thanks Bill

Eh???

That's not a date format; that's a two-digit number format. What is
the actual FORMAT property of the field?

A Date/Time value is stored internally as a Double Float number, a
count of days and fractions of a day (times) since midnight, December
30, 1899. When a textbox based on a date is open for editing, you'll
see the entire date unless you have an Input Mask defined. Try setting
a Format property of

Short Date

and an Input Mask of

00/00/00
