I am trying to create query in access 2000, for some
reason if the day value in date is 12 or less it swaps it
with the month part in the query. If I look in sql view
the format is correct, but in the design view it shows the
modified format. Pls help if have any idea. I have
confirmed all the date format settings on my PC.
e.g. if the date input is 12/10/2003(dd/mm/yyy), the date
in the design view will appear as 10/12/2003.

Thanks

The date display in the Query grid is confusing since it varies according to
the Regional Settings.

I use the SQL View to check date literals. Note that date literals (in JET
SQL) MUST be in the US format mm/dd/yyyy and delimited by hashes (#)
*regardless* of your Regional Settings.
