Date Does not display on files on CD-RW when Exploring

Have written files to a CD-RW. The date does not display
although when I go to overwrite the file with a later
version it displays before the file is overwritten so I
know the date is there on the CD-RW File but does not
display in any file view.

Using the Details view, click on View> Choose Details. Be sure that at
least the default "Date Modified" is selected.

If still no date to be seen, click once in the right hand column of the two
pane Explorer view. Then press CTRL and the + key on the number pad. This
action will automatically resize all of the columns so that they are within
view (not resized or hidden).
