Hi Iam in the process of learning excel. I really like it. Howeve
when I set up a report and I have the date on the first row, how do
get it to advance day by day on the next rows In other words the firs
row has 01/01/05 can i have the second row automatically go to 01/02/0
and so on?? I can't figure it out. Help please!!! :confused

Try fill/drag down?

Example:

Put in A2: 01-Jan-05

Point the cursor at the bottom right corner of A2
(The cursor will turn into a black cross)

Left-click and drag down to say A5

This will populate A1:A5 with
01-Jan-05
02-Jan-05
03-Jan-05
04-Jan-05
05-Jan-05

=a1+1
format as date (if necessary and copy down)

Hi,
This is the solution that will work well if A1 uses the =today() function to
enter todays date. I wasn't sure from your first post if the date in A1 was
fixed or dynamic.
