Date Calculation

I'm trying to get excel to calculate the difference
between a current date and a pervious date. I want the
current date to update automatically. Can this be done? If
so how? Thanks in advance

With the previous date in A1, you could use
=TODAY()-A1
Format the cell with this formula in it as General or number.
 
Hi Adrian

With Current Date in A1 and Previous date in B1 the difference is
=A1-B1

If you are saying you want the value in A1 to update automatically to
today's date, then in cell A1 enter
=TODAY()
