I ahve several forms with subforms embedded in datasheet view, is there a
way to stop people adjusting the widths of the various columns of data within
the datasheet views to suit themselves, the widths that a set now is what i
want, i dont want anyone to be able to adjust them in form view mode

any help appreciated

Stephen Lebans has a class you can use to freeze the columns. See his
page at:

That's one of the main reasons I prefer continuous forms. They can be
made to look very like datasheets, if you like the look; but they give
you as the developer more control, and the user less.
