Is there a way to keep one datagrid column visible as the user scrolls
across the datagrid kind of how it can be done in excel?

well I guess I owe you a big thank you very much for pointing me in the
right direction.......unfortunately I am not always aware of every ng that
exists so I suppose I should have made myself more aware........
