I'm still trying to get back to normal after getting a computer virus. every
so often when I'm trying to run a program, I'll get a messege saying " can't
initialize database". is there a way to fix this.
Depends entirely upon what specific program you're trying to run, and
what specific database it's looking for. Have you contacted the maker
of the program in question to seek assistance?
it won't let me re-instal
service pack 2 either
What is "it?" What, specifically, prevents you from installing the
service pack? What happens when you try? What specific error messages
do you get? What do your system event logs report? What specific
troubleshooting steps have you already taken, and what were the results
of each?
No one can help if you don't provide at least a modicum of
pertinent information.
