I'm an Access novice and I've created a simple db using Access 2002 (but the
db was saved by default in Access 2000 format). When other users try to open
my db the database window doesn't appear. The name of the db appears at the
bottom of the Windows menu, but other than that there's no indication the db
is open and no evident means of working with the db. I created a new blank
db that other users are able to open, so it seems that I inadvertently did
something with my original db that's preventing other users from working
with it. I suppose I can recreate the db and hope I don't recreate the
problem, but I'm hoping I don't have to redo all my work. Suggestions are
appreciated. Thanks.

Open the database, holding the shift key down.
Go to Tools > Startup...
Check to see if you removed the checkmark from Show Database Window. Either
remove it or, better yet, select a Startup Form.
