Someone will be along soon who knows but for now try copying the file and pasting it in another directory and open up the new one to see if that works.

Download a copy of "Jetcomp" from Microsoft support and attempt to repair
the mdb file without opening it. Make a backup first.

Well, back it up first, just in case.

This usually means that the database is corrupted. It may or may not
be salvagable. If you have no backup, you may be completely out of
luck.

Ed's suggestion of using JETCOMP is certainly the first thing to try.
For additional ideas see Tony Toews' Corruption FAQ at

http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

There are third-party companies which provide database salvage service
for a fee, but depending on how the database has been damaged they
might not succeed.

Current backups are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL!
