I am looking for software that will allow me to create a database for
customer info however I wish to vary the size of fields and names. I tried
Access but unfortunately the project I am working doesn't allow me to
purchase Access database for the network. I wish to load the software so
that up to 10 people can view the details on their computers. Any
suggestions please.

Thanks

Please provide a few more details. Does "view" mean read only or 10
people sharing the same data and potentially writing? Or 10 viewers
any 1 of whom can write at one time? What does "vary the size of
fields and names" mean? That you have customer name that is a max of
30 characters and street address max of 60? That customer name length
in data varies from 5 to 30 and you don't want to store 25 trailing
blanks?

Which OS? Do you just need a front end to MS Jet engine that comes
with the OS?
