Database Security

I am trying to setup an access database with user login
and access rights to forms and reports. I set it up
through access wizard in 97 and all I seem to do is lock
myself out of my own access. When others login they dont
get the login screen. How can I set this up?

Security is a fairly finicky process for the developer. I'd suggest
that you get the Microsoft Security FAQ:

Read it CAREFULLY... then read it *again*. Follow the instructions to
the letter. It's very easy to set up security so loosely that anyone
with Access can break it without trying, or so tightly that you can't
get into the database yourself.
