database offline

Hello

Now i want to create graphical databse using front page (because i dont know
if acess can do it in nice graphical way can it..?) for my movies and of
course their plots actors etc.

and i want this to be offline only in my computer

can this be done..? how..?

You will not be able to create and then use this in FP unless you have Windows XP Pro with IIS web
server installed.

that might sound idiotic but i dont know what fp means

I have xp pro but what is IIS web server is it a program and where can i get
it

and if i instanll it will i be able to to do what i asked offline

1. FP = FrontPage
2. IIS available via Add/Remove Windows Components and will require that you always access the pages
via http://localhost/pagename.asp.
3. Yes will be able to use your Excel data.
4. If this is really not a web based application and just for your use, then you might want to post
to the Access newsgroup, as this is something that could be done in Access for regular use on the
desktop.
