Hi im fairly new to Access 2003, I was wondering if its possible to create 2-
3 databases (Customers, Price List, Stock Control) for a store room setup,
which automatically generates invoices from the information, Also having a
barcode scanner connect to say the database to store the information from
that to the database etc.

Thanks any help would be grateful

I would suggest you pick up a good basic book on Access. "Databases" are a
collection of tables, queries, forms, reports,... I think you actually mean
"tables" when you state "Customers, Price List, Stock Control".

You can generally connect a scanner to input characters much like a keyboard
would.

hi,

Yes it is possible to create such a database and connect it to bar code
reader. There are various bar code reader tools available that connect with
the MS Access database.

Invoices can be generated automatically however you need to define exactly
what type of automation is sought. For example, do you want an invoice to be
printed whenever a stock item is sold to a customer?

You might also want to try the product ConApp which keeps track of payments
and contracts at: http://www.Designing-Systems.com/Products/ConApp
