Database crashes

Hi all,
This is what i have found a lot of time. We are like a 45
people team in testing using Access as out conditions
storage tool. Tool does store conditons and all 45 people
can hit the tool and update change or modify ,delete or
add to their conditions. This is what the tool does for us.

The problem is that at a certain level the database size
keeps on growing. Usually the database size we have is
around 13megs...and at a time it grows to ab't 34megs. and
then crashes... poping up the message for repairing the
database.

When i click ok to repair the database the size goes back
to the same ie 13 mgs.

Kinda unusual...thing happening. Can anyone guide me with
this issue...

Thanxs

Access is very good a low user numbers and a likely cause
of your problem is not file size but numbers of
simultaneous users. Does this problem occur if only one
or two users are active?

Hi Bish,,
Thanks for your quick reply...but truely i can't trace how
many users hit this tool at a time...(correct me i
answered ur question correctly). Still, could be the no.
of users that causes this???

Viral,
Do you have your database split? If not, the fact that multiple users are
hitting the same file over a network could increase the possibility of
corrupting your database. Let me suggest that you take a look at Tony Toews'
corruptions page to see if any of the situations fit your problem. If not,
you may try importing all the objects into a new, blank database and, then,
splitting the database.
