Database Connectivity Error

Mary Jane

In FP2002, doing the Insert,Database,Results and using
the database Wizard to do a database connection to an
Excel Spreadsheet. Get an error from the D/B Wizard:


Error: The excel file referenced by this database
connection does not contain a named range of cells that
the database driver recognizes as a database table. See
Excel to name a range of cells.

In Excel, I followed all their instructions to name cells
but nothing changes...always get the same error.

Can someone help?? Thank You.
 
I think you would get a better answer if you posted this to the Excel
newsgroup (microsoft.public.excel).
