When I'm trying do a backup of my database this error appears " Some errors
occurred during backup. Backup has been stopped". Recently I had to
reinstall Office 2003 together with BCM, and from this moment I can't backup
my database.
Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks Paul

P.S. I'll try to rename Repository folder, doesn't halp:(

Hi Paul

To resolve the problem try the following

1. Stopped the Windows Management Instrumentation Service in the
services.msc
control panel

2. Rename the following directory
C:\windows\system32\wbem\repository

3. Restart the WMI Service

let me know if this aleady has been tried bcoz ur posting was not very clear

Hope this helps

Yes I've already tried those steps. Doesn't work. Still see the error.
I've changed the name from repository to repository2 after I stopped wmi and
wmi driver extention. Then I started them again. Still error. Before it was
working ok. Recently I reinstalled antivirus, as well as office 2003 with
BCM. After installation I installed updates again, restred my data base and
everything seems to work ok, just i can't make this backup.

Hi Paul

Thanks for the update is some case a repair of .net Frame work 2.0 seemed to
have resolved the issue try the same and let me know if it helps, also do you
have any spyware removal programs like adware, spybot that you run

Could you tell me more how to repair of.net Frame work 2.0, I have ad-aware
on my station but I don't using it. I had this all the time and before it
worked ok.Beside maybe F-secure firewall have some build in spyware removals.
Is this possible that problem with back up database is related to numbers of
files attached to database. My database size is about 51 MB.

Hi Paul

You can do a repair of .net Frame work 2.0 by going to add /remove programs
and clicking on change, this should give you options to repair the same. Also
the problem with the backup database is not related to the no of files
attached or the size of it .After you are done with the repair of .Net try
turning of the sypware program and see if it works

Thank you very much. Even that I don't use framework 2.0, but 1.1,
reinstallation of framework works perfect, and solve the problem with
database backup. Cheers Raul
