Hi I have Access 2002 and I'm trying to send part of my
database as an email attachment, when I go to File - send
as mail receipient it does not give me an option to choose
Access, it gives html, doc, excel, txt, but no Access.

How do I get Access to be an option?

Thanks in advance
Dan.

You can't. Access files are not treated like doc files or Excel files where
the entire file is loaded into memory and you can have multiple files open
at once. When you go to File - Send Access thinks you are wanting send the
currently selected object in the db window, not the entire mdb file.

To send the entire file you need to do so in Windows Explorer or similar.
You can't do it from within the Access file.

.
Or you have to export the "part" that you are trying to
send to either a new, blank database and send that, or to
a spreadsheet or word document to send.
