Hello, recently I have created a secure Database and
posted it onto the local LAN. However the LAN had the
same username as my database thus ran into a conflicting
password. In order to resolve that issue, I've changed my
username for the Database which made it work perfectly
fine on when you try opening on the LAN. However when I
try copying the files over (all 3 files, Secured.mdw,
actual file, shortcut to the file) to my local drive and
open it, it won't let me open. My local drive still
insists on the original username that was same as the LAN
admin, thus it will not let me open the file I copied over
from the LAN. Any clue on how I can resolve this? Thank
you.

Not really - your network username has nothing to do with Access's username;
they *can* be the same, but don't have to be.

The login dialog, if you haven't opened a secure database before, will pick
up the network username. You do realise that you can edit the username
textbox in the login dialog, right?
