Hi folks,

Wonder if anyone can help I have a problem when trying to install a copy of Slient Hunter III onto my PC. It gets half way through the install and then says - Data1.cab is corrupt or cannot be found - any ideas?

check the disc for scratches, if it still wont install try to copy the disc onto your HD and install from there

Got a Fatal Error 1603 whatever that means when trying to install the files direct from the Computer. This is the second disk I have had and the first did the same thing!

Nup ... that ain't the problem.

The "problem" is the disk is copyprotected ... referred to as "StarForce crippled"

I managed to install it on my laptop without problems so why does it not work on my home PC? I understand this malware thing but is there a way around it?
