I have a spread sheet with two worksheets...

Column A in Worksheet 1 is set as a List Box to take values fro
Worksheet 2 Column B

How do I get excel to stop a user from entering values in Worksheet
Column A that is not in the list box?

I have tried used Error Alert under validation, but it does not seem t
prevent users from entering values that are not in the list box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..
 
Vineedutt,

Have you set the style option (of data validation; Error alert tab) to STOP.
That would make a "normal" entry with a value other than one of the list
values impossible
