I have created a drop down list of names. If the name has previously been
entered in the column, Excel automatically fills in the whole name after I
have entered as few as one character and doesn't really need the drop down
list. However, when I try to exit the cell, I get an error message that says
"The value you entered is not valid A user has restricted values that can be
entered into this cell". I beleive there is a way to turn off the auto
entry, but I don't want to do that. Is there a way I can use auto-entry with
a drop down list?
