Data transfer using usb transfer cable

Want to transfer some files from an old computer to a new one (XP). I
have a usb file transfer cable and would like to use it (I know there
are faster methods, but this is what I have). My problem is that when I
look at FAST, or making connection for computer to computer, there is no
mention of usb. So, how do I do the transfer using usb. Many have said
that it can be used, but I don't see it mentioned in the wizards. Thanks,

Yeah, but you have to buy the Move Me program. I'd like to use the
cable without having to buy a program. Actually, I got the cable with
Detto's Intellimover. But the problem is that you can only use it once
and then have to pay when using it a second time with a different
computer. A real rip-off as they hide this info.
