Data Transfer from ME to Vista

Is there an easy method of transferring data from my Windows ME computer to
my new Vista?

It depends on how you define "easy". Here are some methods:

1. Burn a CD-R with your data on it. Put it in the Vista machine and
copy over your data.
2. Copy your data on the ME box onto a USB thumbdrive. Put the drive in
the Vista machine and copy over your data.
3. Remove the hard drive from the ME box and either put it in a USB
drive enclosure or slave it to the Vista machine and copy over your data.

Windows Easy Transfer will not work on WinME.
