Data Restore

Is there a program out there that will restore data and files from a corrupt
CD back on to my hard drive .. I burnt the files using NTI Disk Maker but
didn't check to see if it was successful and now I cant retrieve them .. I
know the files are there because I downloaded a commercial file recovery
program and I was able to see them ...but of course it wont let me retrieve
them to hard disk .. is their a freeware program that can do this ?
