Hi, I am a novice Access user trying to become less of a
novice. I am trying to create a complex database, at
least form me its complex, and I am having trouble
figuring out how to update the database after I add a new
record.
I have a form with a subform to connect two tables using
the primary and forgeign keys. When I try to add a new
record in this form, I have no problem. The problem is,
when I go into another form to manage the data, I can't
pull up the record I just added unless I close the
database and then open it back up. I'm not sure how to
do a refresh but I think if I can run a refresh data on
after update or close form, this should work. Any
suggestions?
