Hi,

I have a workbook that has several different spreadsheets, each with
different query that gets refreshed through ODBC when the workbook i
used. Each query requires that a date range be entered.

It will always be the case that the same date range will be entered fo
each of the 6 queries.

Question: is it possible to have the query reference specific cells i
the workbook, so that my users don't have to enter the same "To" an
"From" dates six different times? In Access I'm able to referenc
values on forms, but the same logic doesn't seem to apply with respec
to MS Query and Excel.

Any help is sincerely appreciated.

Thanks,

Lan

You can set up a parameter query in MSQuery in the same way as you do in
access

[Enter a Date]

You can then, once the data is returned to Excel, either

1) Press the Parameters button on the last screen of the wizard and set it
to collect it's data from a cell. (And a couple of other options)
2) Go to the parameters button on the external data toolbar and set it up
from there
