During an XP reload, I changed file system from Fat32 to
NTFS and now of the executables seem to work...whne you
click on an executable you get "file not found, please
reinstall"...I can see the files on the disk drive but
can't get them to work...what can I do?

Thanks - but need further explanation - if these registry
changes are made (asume have to run each fix for each file
extension) are the defaults going to the be those required
to allow the programs to be run under NTFS or will the go
back to FAT32...no clear what the fixes actually do.

The file associations acutally have nothing to do with the disk format.
Applications don't care - unless they are utilities operating directly on
the disk, in which case they probably won't run under XP - about FATxx or
NTFS. The operating system handles all that.

That is to say, the problem you are experiencing may have risen at the same
time you converted the disk, but it's not *because* of NTFS.
