I have created a large form using tabs. My sample data appeared in the form
but has now suddenly disappeared although it is still showing in table view.

Why is this happening and what can I do to resolve the issue?

Make sure the form's Data Entry property is No. (Setting this to Yes opens
the form for adding new records, i.e. it suppresses any existing ones.)

If this is Access 2007, make sure the form's Filter On Load property is No.

If the form's source is a query, check the criteria and joins in the query
to see if they are excluding the records.

It is the 2007 version. I have checked what you suggested and they are fine.
I have noticed that when I enter data through the form it is not updating one
of the tables it should be linked to.

Let me explain:

Form: Case Details

Tables Used: Member Details
Worplace Details
Employer Details

I dont know if this relevant but it has also copied my form into each of
these groups!

Open the form in design view.

While looking at the properties of the form (not of a text box), examine the
form's RecordSource property (on the Data tab.) This will tell you which
table the form is supposed to save information to.

Thanks for that!!
