Data Link Connection error

Could I have some explanation how to handle a Jet 4.0 OLE provider connection
error.
I have an HP t5710 thinclient attempting access to a network based MS Access
data file. (test.udl)-(data.mdb)

I get a Microsoft Data Link error that reads:
"Test connection failed becasue of an error in initializing provider.
unspecified error."

Purpose: I am attempting to run a kiosk app on the thinclient that accesses
a mdb on the network (no, not using terminal services at this moment,
although this may be persued). It interacts with a dp finger sensor and local
printer. It appears to be the only holdback to success in this fashion.

Thanks,
Gord

The HP device may be missing MS OLE Database provider for Jet databases
(msjetoledb40.dll) and probably the whole Jet Database Engine. I'd suggest
contacting HP since they own the XPe image for the device and are the only
one that can add features to their image.
