Having problem re-importing data ... i copied the database to make changes
while the original was still being used. The changes were more cosmetic on
the forms and sub-forms and reports. I made a few changes on the tables-
properties nothing significant. I have deleted out the records of the copy
and want to pull the updated info back in to the edited version ... Am I
going to have to break the relationships - i sure hope not ... any suggestions

You should be splitting your database between a Front End and Back End. The
FE has the forms, reports, etc. The BE holds the tables. Access even has a
tool that will split the database for you. That way you can make changes to
the FE without bothering the BE data.
Check out the following from Tony Toews:

This is the first time in 6 years that they have made changes to this
database ... probably aren't going to make many more ... can the data be
re-imported with out splitting the database?

Thanks

This is the first time in 6 years that the database has been changed ... more
than likely it will not change again .... is there a way to get the data
imported with out splitting the database?
