Data file not closed properly

For a while now when I open Outlook I get the following error message

The data file 'New personal folders' was not closed properly.
The file is being checked for problems.

After a few minutes the program opens and works fine.

I just installed SP3 update to XP but this was happening before and I
haven't noticed a difference since.

Any idea how I can stop this annoying problem?

Sounds like you have a 3rd party application installed that is preventing
Outlook from closing properly. You need to find that program/addin and
disable it.
 
Good question. I am having the same problem with Outlook but I am running
Vista with SP2. some mornings when I open Outlook the whole computer
crashes!! Hope you get an answer that helps me too!
