data executable prevention

I am the administrator for my home XP pro service 2. I need to turn DEP.
But everytime I click it on then click apply OK then OK again then go back it
is back to the third option which is NOT DEP ON. WHY????

Maybe your motherboard doesn't have DEP. Mine doesn't.

Maybe your motherboard doesn't have DEP. Mine doesn't.

WinXP SP2 has software enforced DEP. You really should upgrade.
